About Me

Lindy from Indy: Halethorpe (Baltimore), Maryland, United States; Random. That's me in a nutshell really. I enjoy travel, hospitality, "going deep" in a great conversation and long walks on the beach (I had to add that one in!)

Sunset on the way to California

Happy

Sweat stain from a drink...hmmm...

Sunset in CA

On the patio at the villa in Newport Beach

FRO

My hair in the convertible...otherwise known as THE JEW FRO

Fredericton, NB, Canada

Where the hell is Waldo?!

Orange, VA

NYC

I had eaten here about a year ago...came across it again and couldn't resist a picture.

South Bend, IN

Touchdown Jesus....

NYC

A great group....at a Japanese Karaoke Bar. Only in NYC...

Clarksville, TN (again)

I love this place...

Grand Rivers, KY

There are really no words to express what the week in Grand Rivers, KY was like.

Clarksville, TN

I loved this little place.

Snowmass/Aspen

Working the overnight shift over Thanksgiving isn't exactly a dream of mine. But it was great to get back to the Aspen area. This is a view from the plane as I was leaving.

St. Pete Beach, FL

Didn't feel well on this trip - but the view helped with my mood a little bit!!

The Poconos

I would've hiked this trail - but I was afraid Big Foot might be bigger than me.

Norwalk, CT

Sadly - I think this may be the only picture I took (outside of the hotel) while in Connecticut. Only left the hotel once in ten days to go for a walk. The man who is black-mailing David Letterman is from this town...

Orlando, FL

I was here for a little over 6 weeks. These elephants became my friends...I should've named them. Dang.

Dundee, OR

One of my top two places to stay (if we're comparing actual hotel rooms). The city had no more than probably 500 people in it. They bleed wine, and they eat a lot.... I love it! I want to marry the guy that owns this house and winery on top of the hill. He's a big, burley guy...he'd come to the hotel for dinner sometimes. Should've married him then and there.

Ashland, OR

Interesting place....I actually got attacked by a hippie here. Besides that - it was great. It's a Shakespeare and pot town. Take that however you'd like!

Newport Beach

I was OBSESSED with this wall!! I loved it and was so sad to leave it!

Grant, Oklahoma

Out in the middle of nowhere...and I LOVED IT!! I saw 25 people wearing bib-overalls in one day!!

Christiansburg, Virginia

Nice drive!!

Columbus, Nebraska

Yep. Stopped at this place every morning on the way to the hotel. It was a gas station. Yep. Wow.

Palm Springs, CA

VERY HOT. I landed at 9pm, and it was 109 degrees. Ugh.

Galloway, NJ

Awesome place, would love to go back. HOWEVER - this resort had all kinds of crazy doors, fake walls and ghost stories!! This one was in the back of their front office. Weird....but VERY cool.

Menlo Park, CA (Stanford University)

Ben Franklin, sitting in a beautiful courtyard in the middle of the hotel. He scared the CRAP out of me one day as I took a shortcut through the courtyard to my room at about 2am!!

Daytona Beach, FL

The view from my room every morning, looked a lot like this one!

Wixom, MI

Only picture I have from Wixom...that's how exciting it was. Yes - I know I don't fit in the car....that was the reason for this picture!

Vancouver

Cold, Rainy - perfect for the 2010 Winter Olympics

Little Rock

Clinton Memorial Library

Newport Beach, CA

Pelican...maybe the last visit :(

French Lick

Long Beach, CA

The Queen Mary....crappy food. I almost died yet again!

Atmore, AL

The Ford's for sale...

New York City

I was there for an hour... this is the Brooklyn Bridge

Shepherdstown, West Virginia

National Conservation Training Center

Bryce Canyon City/Zion National Park

Newport Beach, CA (Third Time!)

Newport Beach (again)

Columbia, MD

My home office allergies were getting to me...

Alaska

Through the rear view mirror....I love this. Four hour drive and I passed two other cars.

Newport Beach, CA

View from outside Staff Cafe

Santa Barbara

View from my room...that's about as exciting as it gets. Sorry - I didn't take a picture of the local Quizno's that saw me for eight meals in four days.

St. Louis

At a game...hotel and arch in the background

Oahu

That one park that has a specific name that I can't remember...it's where they film a lot of movies.

Cincinnati

Most interesting site I have ever been a part of!!

Denver site / weekend visit to Aspen

On a 14-er...after lunch with my Aspen buddies. Friggin horse...... Yes, this is when Mustang Pete almost killed me!!

New York City Visit #3

View outside my Ginormous room / Park Avenue....this is also where I almost tackled P Diddy....

Portland, OR

Pepe's Mexican Food...nice sign

Quebec City

This picture doesn't even come close to explaining Quebec City. I LOVE THIS CITY!!

New York City Visit #2

Naked Cowboy...

Also New York City Visit #2

too good not to share...

Palm Springs

Horrible pic of me, but I had been up for 30 hours...gimme a break. There was a Cabaret Drag Show in the lobby of the hotel during our 24 hour support....I'm going to use this as my Christmas card this year. I'm sure my grandmother will love it!

Santa Monica

The famous Pier. This was actually the last day that the "old" ferris wheel was up and running. The next day it was gone. I heard it sold on ebay.

Grand Canyon

An elk saying, WTF?! We were waiting to see an Elk...the code words (if you saw one) was "The Elk Flies at Midnight!!"

Grand Canyon (same visit)

Hanging on for dear life

New York City visit #1

Where the WTC was...

Google Analytics Visitor Counter

No matter where I go, this is still the best place in the world...

China Town (During New York City Visit #1)

My favorite bakery... Although, I read in the paper a week after I took this picture that the reason they closed my favorite bakery was because they were hiding heroin in the rolls..... Hmmm...maybe that's why I don't remember most of this trip.
